Communications and marketing is responsible for planning and conducting community relations programs for the City of Weatherford. Activities include production of the annual report, website development, internal communications and social media oversight. Communications and marketing also responds to media request and assists with special events to promote local tourism while working with other departments to promote education and outreach initiatives.
Communications and marketing collaborates with citizens and local partners to:
Reinforce and increase the City of Weatherford's visibility in the public.
Increase community engagement outreach efforts.
Advance and protect the City of Weatherford's mission and vision.
Develop and evaluate tourism programs.
Serve as a consultant on Capital Project Planning.
