The Needlework group is a great way to meet fellow crafters who enjoy crochet, embroidery, knitting, or any other type of hand work. Share ideas and hone skills. Open to all ages and skill levels. Just bring your own materials (yarn, needles/hooks).

Come get crafty at the library and learn a new skill.
We provide the supplies and instructions, and as always, it’s free to attend. Come ready to learn and have some fun!

Space is limited, so you must register at Eventbrite for the class time you are interested in attending. The class is designed for adults ages 18 and older only, please. Each person attending must register individually.

Registration opens Thursday, April 9th at 9 a.m.

For this class, each attendee will learn how to make decoupage glue, learn about different types of decoupage glue and what they can be used for, and will then make a decoupaged flower pot using patterned scrapbook paper.

We’ve had some great Show & Tell events, and now let’s make it more interesting. Each month will have a theme. Remember both elements of the program in your presentation: “ Show” (an object or prop) and “Tell” (talk about it). Themes provide structure to the program and increase the fun for everyone!

Librarian and veteran homeschool mom, Leah Flippin, presents this seminar each year for parents who are interested in starting or are in the early stages of teaching at home. Learning styles, teaching approaches, and helping students with learning differences are additional topics that will be discussed.
