Beginning Wednesday, May 6, 2020, the 100-200 blocks of East Rentz Street between North Main Street and Cottonwood Drive will be closed to through traffic for pavement rehabilitation. This construction project is estimated to last approximately 2 weeks, weather permitting. Residents and businesses within the project area will have access to their property at all times. Below is a map showing alternate detour route.
Meadowview Drive, just off of FM 730 will be widened and paved. This is in coordination with the school to help the traffic flow.
Beginning Tuesday, June 9th, the Transportation and Public Works Department will begin the rehabilitation process in the 200, 300, & 400 blocks of Meadowview Road. This project is estimated to last approximately 1 month, weather permitting. Main access driveways will be open to through traffic with occasional closures during construction. Residents within the project area will be notified in advance when a driveway will be temporarily closed. Do not park vehicles on the street and/or edge of pavement and please limit watering and irrigation during the project duration. Below is a map of the proposed construction area.
Beginning Monday, June 15, 2020, the Transportation and Public Works Department will have a milling contractor (TexOp Construction) to perform edge milling on Guinevere Drive, Guinevere Court, Yorkshire Court and Kenshire Court. Edge milling is a process of milling the asphalt areas directly adjacent to concrete curbs, gutter pans, manholes, etc. Once the milling is completed the Transportation and Public Works will begin overlaying these streets. This construction project is estimated to last approximately 2 months, weather permitting. Please do not park vehicles on the street and/or edge of pavement and limit watering and irrigation along edge of pavement during this time. Below is a map of the proposed construction area.
