In accordance with Section 551.042 of the Texas Government Code, this agenda has been posted at the Weatherford City Hall, distributed to the appropriate news media, and posted on the City website:  www.weatherfordtx.gov within the required time frame.  As a courtesy, the entire Agenda Packet has also been posted on the City of Weatherford website:  www.weatherfordtx.gov.  All meetings of the Weatherford City Council are open to the public and public participation and written comments are invited on all open session business items. 

The Planning and Zoning Board Chairman request that all cell phones and pagers be turned off or set to vibrate.  Members of the audience are requested to step outside the Council Chambers to respond to a page or to conduct a phone conversation.

The Weatherford City Hall is wheelchair accessible and special parking is available on the south side of the building.  If special accommodations are required please contact the city secretary a minimum of 24 hours in advance by contacting the City Secretary’s Office at 817-598-4202.

CONSENT AGENDA

All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will not be separate discussion of these items.  If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered separately.

Consider minutes of the February 13, 2008, Planning and Zoning Board Meeting.

 

REGULAR AGENDA

Public Hearings

1.

Hold a Public Hearing and consider making a recommendation to City Council for a replat for Lot 1R and Lot 2R, Block 1 Candlewood Addition.  The 2 acre site is located south of Interstate 20 on Alford Drive.


2.

Hold a Public Hearing and consider a recommendation to City Council on a request to rezone 6.215 acres from Single Family 8.4 (SF-8.4) to Neighborhood Service (NS).  Also consider an amendment to the 2002 Comprehensive Land Use Map from Single Family Medium Density to Office/Retail.  The 6.215 acre site situated in the I.C. Spence Survey, Abstract No. 1172, City of Weatherford, Parker County, Texas, is located at 426 Eureka Street and 502 Eureka Street.

3.

Hold a Public Hearing and consider a recommendation to City Council on a request to rezone .732 acres from Light Industrial (LI) to Commercial (C).  The .732 acre site, situated in Block 5, J.A. Yeoman Addition, City of Weatherford, Parker County, Texas, is located at 802 Fort Worth Street.

4.

Hold a Public Hearing and consider a recommendation to City Council on a request to rezone 3.771 acres from general Retail (GR) to Planned Development (PD) for General Retail plus mini-warehouse uses.  Also consider an amendment to the 2002 Comprehensive Plan amending the Future Land Use Map from High Density Single Family to Commercial.  The 3.771 acre site situated in J.A. Yeoman Survey, Abstract No. 1 692, City of Weatherford, Parker County, Texas, is located at 1925 South Bowie Drive.
