The City of Weatherford has contracted with Emergency Communications Network, Inc. for its "CodeRED" high-speed telephone emergency notification services. The CodeRED system gives city officials the ability to deliver pre-recorded emergency telephone information messages to targeted areas or the entire city in a timely manner. 

A database of landline telephone numbers of individuals residing inside the city limits of Weatherford has been input to the CodeRED system. However additional phone numbers, including cell phones may also be added to the database. You may add phone numbers online by visiting the Weatherford CodeRED website or by calling the Weatherford Fire Department Administration office at 817-598-4293 Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) to give information over the phone.  Required information includes first and last name, street address (physical address, no P O boxes), city, state, zip code, primary phone number, and cell phone provider and number if desired. 

No one should automatically assume his or her phone number is included.  All businesses should register, as well as all individuals who have unlisted phone numbers, who have changed their phone number or address within the last year, and who use a cellular phone as their primary home phone.
