Powers and Duties
- The Weatherford Economic Development Authority, Inc. is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(6) economic development business corporation.
- The board creates a partnership of the community, including:
- City of Weatherford
- Weatherford Municipal Utility Board
- Weatherford Independent School District
- Weatherford College
- Parker County Hospital District
- Weatherford Chamber of Commerce
- To lead the economic development activities for the promotion, marketing, attraction and retention; to the City of Weatherford, Texas; including the attraction & retention of new and existing commercial, industrial and manufacturing prospects, the marketing of industrial & commercial sites and the identification of target commercial and industrial enterprises.
