Where does Weatherford Public Library get its digital magazines?
The Weatherford Public Library (WPL) is a member of the North Texas Libraries on the Go OverDrive Consortium. This product was previously known as Zinio for Libraries and RBdigital.
What equipment and software do I need to access digital magazines?
You can access digital magazines directly through your web browser, or through the Libby app for iOS and Android.
Can I use my OverDrive account for eBooks and eAudio to access digital magazines?
Yes. All digital content is available through OverDrive or Libby using your library card number and PIN.
Will I be able to use the computers at the library to download digital magazines?
Yes. You can use the public Internet workstations to access the digital magazine collection online.
How many digital magazine titles are available?
3,288 titles are available including youth, teen, and adult titles and titles in languages other than English.
Can I place holds on magazine titles?
You will never need to, as our digital magazine subscriptions include unlimited checkouts to more than one user at a time.
Will magazines count toward my three-item OverDrive checkout limit?
Yes. However, you may return magazines early.
How long will I have to view my digital magazines before they expire or have to be returned?
Two weeks.
Can I print articles from magazines?
Yes, you will be able to print full magazine pages when viewing magazines in a web browser. Libby does not support printing. If you use the library’s printers, standard printing fees will apply.
Are back issues of magazines available?
Yes. On the Libby app, click on the magazine cover thumbnail and scroll down to see back issues. Through a web browser, click on the magazine cover thumbnail and then click the "Select another issue' button.
