The Cherry Park Community Building and Harberger Hill Community Building are available to the public to rent for family reunions, birthday parties, showers, etc. All city facilities are alcohol and tobacco free. An overview of policy is provided HERE or the entire policy may be downloaded.

Cherry Park Community Building

Policies
Cherry Park Community Building is a barracks-style building (long and lean) and is rented as one unit and has a capacity of around 50 people. . There are restrooms and a kitchen inside available for use. Although health guidelines prevent renters from cooking, the kitchen may be used to warm-up pre-made food or catered food.
$30/hour rental
$225/day (8am-12am)
Refundable Deposit $125.00
Deposit Policy: Refundable Deposit must be paid in Full with an additional $50.00 down on the building in order to secure a date. The person agreeing to the terms at the time of rental will be responsible for any damage. The person renting must be 21 years or older. The deposit is a separate fee from the rental fee. Deposits will be refunded if facility has been cleaned and left in the same or better condition than it was prior to the rental. (Please allow up to two weeks to process return of deposit). Deposits will be forfeit if anything is set up for the reservation prior to the time that has been reserved and paid for, the facility has been left in an unacceptable manner (determined by Facility Coordinator). No inappropriate behavior is allowed at City of Weatherford facilities. All reservations are subject to be reviewed for current and future usage. Any damage to Community Building property or interests that is assessed to be greater than the amount of the deposit will be charged to the individual signing the contract
Harberger Hill Community Building

Harberger Hill Community Building is one large room that accommodates 75 people. Restrooms and a kitchen are available for use with the rental of the building. Although health guidelines prevent renters from cooking, the kitchen may be used to warm-up pre-made food or catered food.
$40/hour rental
$300/day (8am-12am)

USEFUL TIPS: ( Cherry Park & Harberger Hill )
- To plan a successful event, the following suggestions are given:
- Cherry Park accommodates approximately 50 people
- Cherry Park door will automatically lock, keep the key with you to avoid being locked out
- Harberger Hill accommodates approximately 75 people
- The number of tables and chairs are not specified or guaranteed, so if a count is necessary before the event, a key can be acquired at 119 Palo Pinto Street, Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm. Please provide a form of ID to check out a key to view the buildings.
- Tables are 4’ X 6’, easy up and easy clean top. Chairs are metal or have a Formica-type back and seat.
- Allow time during rental period to decorate and clean up before and after the event.
- Small appliances, tablecloths or sound equipment will not be provided.
- Note any unusual or suspicious activities before and after rental and notify authorities immediately.
- MUST BE OUT OF BUILDING AT THE END OF RENTAL – NO CARRYOVERS. Several rentals are booked each day. BE COURTEOUS.
Mount Pleasant School

Mount Pleasant Policies
Book your next business meeting at the newly renovated Mount Pleasant School. It is a two-room facility, each room can seat up to 50 people. Due to historic preservation, decorations are prohibited. There is no kitchen available in this facility. Rented for meetings only. May only rent two days per week, due to high demand for reservations.
$20/hour rental
(8am-10pm)
Reservation Information
- Reservations must include set-up and clean-up time. Renters are responsible for cleaning after themselves.
- Renters must pay the lesser of the total rental fee or $50 to hold their date. The $50 reservation fee will be applied to the total rental rate.
- High demand limit is only 2 reservation days per week
- Saturday/Sunday reservations are accepted up to one (1) year in advance. Weekday reservations are accepted up to six (6) months in advance.
- Weekday rentals must end no later than 10pm, including clean-up times.
- Weekend rentals (F/S/S) must end no later than midnight, including clean-up times.
Non-Profit Groups
- Non-profit groups may use the Mount Pleasant School for $5/hour (no day rate)
- Non-profit groups may reserve Mount Pleasant no more than twice a week due to the demand for requested reservation space.
- We will require a copy of the group's 501(c)(3) certificate in order to receive the non-profit discount.
- Only meetings are accepted, decorations are prohibited due to historic preservation of the building.
- Saturday/Sunday reservations are accepted up to one (1) month in advance
- Weekday reservations are accepted up to three (3) months in advance.
