Keep Weatherford Beautiful Trash-Off

2023 Trash-Off Event Image

EVENT INFORMATION

This is a fun competition where we break up into teams of 10 to see which team can gather the most litter. The Don’t mess with Texas Trash-Off is the single largest one-day cleanup event in the state and serves as Texas’s signature event for the Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program. Engaging more than 4 million volunteers and community members, like you, annually has led to a positive and lasting impact for environments across the nation. Your participation sends a clear message to Texas to end littering.

Winning team is awarded 2023 Keep Weatherford Beautiful Trash-Off trophies. Free lunch for all volunteers! We will have a Trash-Off scavenger hunt & "The Weirdest Find" competition. All gear such as visibility vests, disposable gloves and trash bags will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

To register to volunteer please email Horticulturist Jerri Pond at jpond@weatherfordtx.gov. Email your name and any other volunteers that will be joining you.
