Alecia Durham began her career in 1989 with the City of Weatherford serving in the Public Works Department. Ms. Durham transferred to Weatherford Police Department in 1993 as the Executive Secretary to the Chief of Police. She promoted through the ranks serving as Police Communications and Support Staff Supervisor and currently serves as the Department’s Special Services Planner. Ms. Durham’s responsibilities are multifaceted including the overall planning, development, coordination, and implementation of grants, special programs, events, and projects. Additionally, she serves as the Department’s Law Enforcement Victim Assistant Liaison and volunteer coordinator. Ms. Durham holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Tarleton State University and has obtained recognition as a Certified Grants Specialist from the National Grant Writers Association.
