Brief Description -
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 43, the City of Weatherford, Texas, proposes to institute voluntary annexation proceedings on "Arrowpoint at East Lake" being 6.086 acres including 5.337 acres situated in J.L. Edwards Survey, Abstract Number 416, Parker County, Texas as conveyed to David Wilson, Kyle Lawson and Bobby Joe Whaley as evidence by deed recorded in Instrument No. 201933416, Deed Records, Parker County, Texas. Said 5.337 acres includes all of Lots 4-8, East Lakeview Addition, an addition to Parker County, Texas according to the plat recorded in Volume 290, Page 604, Plat Records, Parker County, Texas. Said 6.086 acres also includes 0.749 acres of Arrowpoint Drive right of way as dedicated to Parker County, Texas, to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of the city.
If approved, the completed voluntary annexation will not expand the City’s extra-territorial jurisdiction (ETJ). A map of the proposed voluntary annexation area is available in the City Secretary's Office and on the City’s Website at www.weatherfordtx.gov under “Government” then “Annexation Information”.
The City Council of the City of Weatherford, Texas, will hold public hearings on the proposed voluntary annexation on the following dates:

DATE: Thursday, December 17, 2020
TIME: 11:00 A.M.

The City Council of the City of Weatherford, Texas, will consider adoption of the Ordinance on the proposed voluntary annexation on:

LOCATION: Weatherford City Hall Council Chambers, 303 Palo Pinto Street
All interested persons are invited to attend and participate in the Public Hearings. Should you require special accommodations to participate, please contact the City Secretary at 817-598-4202 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting and every effort will be made to make reasonable accommodations. City Hall is wheel chair accessible and special parking is available from the south side of the building.
