Public Notices - 2908 Old Brock Road Annexation

Brief Description - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 43, the City of Weatherford, Texas, proposes to institute voluntary annexation proceedings on "2908 Old Brock Road" being a tract of land situated in the I. Spence Survey, Abstract No. 1193, the S. Barber Survey, Abstract No. 151 & the S. Jones Survey, Abstract No. 748, Parker County, Texas, being a part of the same tracts described in deeds to the Everett Bedford recorded in Volume 447, Page 406, Volume 716, Page 519 & Volume 716, Page 523, Deed Records of Parker County, the subject tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds and enclosing 94.38 acres of land, more or less, to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of the City. The City Council of the City of Weatherford, Texas, will hold a public hearing on the proposed voluntary annexation, and will consider adoption of the ordinance for the proposed voluntary annexation on the following date: DATE: Tuesday, July 25, 2023 TIME: 6:00 P.M. LOCATION: Weatherford City Hall Council Chambers, 303 Palo Pinto Street All interested persons are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing. Should you require special accommodations to participate, please contact the City Secretary at 817-598-4202 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting and every effort will be made to make reasonable accommodations. City Hall is wheelchair accessible and special parking is available from the south side of the building.
