    Join us for this fun take and make program in which we create our own Baby Yoda finger puppets! Free supply packets will be available for pickup at the reference desk on May 4th and our demonstration video will debut on our Facebook page that same morning. All supply kits are available on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

    In-Person Storytime - Join us in our brand-new Reading Pavilion for a celebration of the ABCs! Parents are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. We will have carpet circles for the kids. Outdoor events are subject to cancellation due to weather. To keep WPL outdoor events safe for everyone, we would also encourage participants to observe current social distancing guidelines. Virtual Storytime - Join us virtually for delightful stories and fun songs. Our virtual Storytime will be made available to view Tuesdays and Thursdays on our Facebook page.

  3. Tree Care and Planting

    May 4, 2021, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Weatherford Public Library Reading Pavilion

    Join us in the Reading Pavilion on Tuesday, May 4th at 6 p.m. as the Parker County Master Gardeners present a special program on tree care and planting. There will be activity packets to help 1st through 6th graders learn about trees and growing things. The Master Gardeners will have door prize drawings for five lucky families to take home a free tree! All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Outdoor programs are contingent upon favorable weather conditions.
