A warning means that a severe weather event is imminent or occurring in the warned area.
Actions to Take once the Warning has Been Issued: Activate your emergency plan Take shelter immediately Tune in to local news or radio stations for additional information
The Outdoor Warning Siren Test will be conducted the first Wednesday of each month (weather permitting) at 1:00 pm.
The test will consist of a tone being sounded for 3 minutes then silence. All 10 of the sirens will be tested at the same time.
If the weather is overcast/cloudy/rain then then that monthly test will be cancelled.
