Meetings
City Council Regular Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. In July, November, and December, the schedule is adjusted for holidays and summer breaks. Each September, the City Manager presents a proposed meeting schedule for the upcoming fiscal year for Council adoption.

Overview
- The City Council consists of a Mayor and four Council Members.
- The Mayor and Council Members are elected at-large by place, with all five representing the entire City of Weatherford
- The Mayor and Council Members serve staggered terms of three years.
- May 2, 2026 - Election for Places 1 and 2.
- May 1, 2027 - Election for Places 3 and 4.
- May 6, 2028 - Election for Mayor.
