Library Account Information


  • If you live inside or own property inside of Weatherford city limits, there is no charge to open a borrower's account at Weatherford Public Library. There is an annual $50 non-resident fee if you live outside of the City of Weatherford.
  • Photographic identification issued by a government or educational institution is required to open an account and must be shown when the application is made.
  • City residence verification is required to open a no charge account. Acceptable forms of verification: government issued ID (must be current), electric bill, water bill, cable bill, natural gas bill, or lease.
  • For minor children (age 17 and under), a parent or guardian must complete the application form. The parent or guardian must have an account in good standing to open an account for a child.
  • A fee is charged for replacement library cards, but the library card will not be required to check out materials or to use the Internet. Photographic identification issued by a government or educational institution will be accepted in place of the library card.
  • Please report all lost or stolen cards to the library immediately.
