Guidelines for Using the Dies and Die-Cutting Machines at Weatherford Public Library (WPL)

Who May Use the Dies and Machines at WPL

  1. Must be 15 years old or older to handle dies and operate machines unaccompanied.
  2. Those ages 12 to 14 may handle dies and operate machines with adult supervision.
  3. Those ages 11 and under may not handle dies or operate machines. The dies are made with knife blades to cut the designs. Therefore, injury can occur if the dies are not handled properly. This is a safety issue. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in forfeiture of future use of the dies and machines

Must read our guidelines and sign-in at the Reference Desk before using die-cut machines.
