Station Tours and Firefighter Visits

Touring the Stations

Station tours are a great way to meet the your firefighters. Firefighters will guide our guests through the fire station giving them an overview of our facilities, vehicles and equipment. Fire prevention and safety tips are also discussed and geared towards the appropriate age level. We welcome all ages!

Of course, guests are welcome to drop by the stations any day but we request that designated tours be scheduled at least a week in advance in order to accommodate staffing needs. We currently do not plan birthday parties for individuals however there are circumstances when birthday parties have been held at the fire stations exclusively through charities, auctions and/or non-profit groups. Please call our office at 817-598-4292, or email tyandell@weatherfordtx.gov to arrange a date and time for your club or group to visit.

Firefighter Visits and Public Relations Events

There are times and circumstances when it may be difficult for your group to visit the station. If that is the case, we can also make arrangements for the firefighters to visit you! Our firefighters often visit club meetings, daycares, schools, and assisted living facilities to provide fire education and discuss fire prevention. Please give us a call at 817-598-4292, or email tyandell@weatherfordtx.gov if you would like to arrange a time for the firefighters to visit with you.

Block Parties

We can also make brief appearances at your block parties! We are often invited to participate as neighbors gather in their neighborhoods for special holidays and events such as the 4th of July and National Night Out Against Crime. Firefighters will arrive in one of the department's fire trucks and will discuss fire safety and gladly answer any questions you may have.
